Stone Block Walls
Stone block walls can come in many forms and for many uses. Both structural and ornamental.
Ashlar is traditionally laid blocks of even dimension normally the old imperial measurement of 1 foot, and mainly used in the bottom courses of older style homes and were still being used up until the 1920’s.
Drypack Stone Wall
Drypack stone walls are made by using odd sizes of rock fitted together without the uses of cement. These were traditionally used as cattle fences in England recycling the stones in the paddock and building your fence.
